Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Services

Facilitated by Julie Finbow, Deputy Manager Cancer Wellbeing and Information Centre and Dan Jolley, TYA Cancer Nurse Specialist

A bespoke service support for cancer patients aged 16-24 treated at Ipswich Hospital

We provide a unique personalised package of support for young people, including:

  • One-to-one health and wellbeing support

  • One-to-one/ group support to return to physical activity

  • Emotional support where needed

  • Group events supporting both the young person and their loved ones

  • Linking into community based initiatives/ services

Helping young people to live their best life through exceptionally challenging times
